Clothesline

Not a pergola yet but it still has function. I got the clothesline installed today. We went to Mt. Sterling this morning to get the parts to finish up the garden tub conversion. It is soon to become a dog washing station. We'll still be able to fill it if we want to take a bath but it will have hose attachments so Lisa can wash the girls during the winter. It won't be pretty but it should be functional. I wasn't able to find everything I needed to do it just right so hopefully I can improve on it over time.

Drilling a pilot hole for the stainless steel lag bolt eye.

Putting up the first lag eye. Pulling the line level.

Pulling the line level and trimming the lables off the lag eyes.

The line was tangled in the package. Why would they do that? Tying the knot.

We also had to put up a plant hanger.

We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate our very own Paige's daughter, Guen! Guen and Janice earned their Rally Novice title yesterday. Guen may now be addressed as Paige's Black Guenoc, C.D. R.N. Three cheers for Janice and Guen!!!

Looks like the clothes line is coming along fine. Guen is so cute in all of her pictures and was cute when I got to meet her at Christmas time. I wish I could have met her when she was a puppy. Tell Janice and Guen I said congrats!!!
