Booneville

We went over to Booneville (pronounced Boon-vul) to see a miniature horse. It's a cremella mare with blue eyes. She's 8 hands and very quiet natured. She'd probably make a good companion horse for Heidi. We stopped in Richmond and picked up some free pallets that a guy at a roofing company was giving away. He had them on craigslist. I didn't have to cut up the tree today. The farmer in the back is going to come back tomorrow with a backhoe and lift it off the fence.

This was a pretty little river near Booneville.

The pallets are on the garage floor ready for the hay. I had to modify the last two tie downs for the truck.

I still can't believe you guys bought a horse. There is nothing like taking it slow and getting your fence put up before you buy the horse. I realize we rushed things getting Jake early in all, but we had a fence for him when he got here. (it would have been better to have a barn first though)

We do have a fence. Mostly. We just need the one by the road and they're coming this week. The mini can stay in the chain link.
